Goals

1. Media Professionalism

The media currently depicts serious professional gaps. The inadequacy of professional knowledge in journalism practice is at all levels. Consider for instance: Directors, Chief Editors, journalists, documentationists and technicians among others.

Although these posts exist in most media organisations' structures, many are just in name than in competence. The other fields of little competence are: administration, finance and technical management; specialization of all sorts (health, environment, population, training of documentalists, data-processing of information and familiarization of the ethics of journalist profession among others).

2. Media Freedom Promotion

Freedom of the press is the freedom of communication and expression through vehicles including various electronic media and published materials. While such freedom mostly implies the absence of interference from an overreaching state, its preservation may be sought through constitutional or other legal protections

3. Media Regulation

The goal of media regulation is to analyze and to design systems that promote important values of social stability while guaranteeing fundamental rights of freedom.
